My story

The artist behind Figgy’s Photos is Matthew Lambeth, an Indigenous Australian man of the Boorooberongal clan of the Darug nation. Matthew is an electrician by trade, but is passionate about photography as an outlet of creative expression.What started from buying a camera for a two week camping trip around Australia soon turned into a fun hobby which he could look forward to doing after a long week of work. Matthew soon realised the landscapes he was shooting was well loved and received on his personal social accounts. This is how Figgy’s Photos came to fruition.Figgy’s Photos is Matthew’s way to express the beauty of Australian landscapes and wildlife and showcase moments captured in time to his audience.
